Derwent Watercolour Pencils have a water-soluble core that is ideal for creating watercolour paintings with the convenience of a pencil. Watercolour Pencils are highly pigmented, have a soft texture when applied to paper and are easy to blend. Lay down dry colour then add water to achieve a variety of effects, or use on wet paper to produce brighter washes with soft edge; colour can then be re-wet and moved around on the page.
