“First published as a book for children, over 6,000 copies of An Nollaig Thiar were sold. It is a wonderful book for both young and old and it is a lovely piece of writing.” – Liam Mac Con Iomaire, Breandan Ó hEithir: Iomramh Aonair.
This is a very enjoyable book in which Ó hEithir gives an intimate account of his boyhood on Inis Mór. Ó hEithir’s memoir brings life and vibrancy to his memories of daily life in the 1930s and 1940s on the Aran Islands.
