A lovely little town in the West of Ireland.
Just a 20 minute coastal drive from Westport along the Wild Atlantic Way.
We're at gateways to Connemara and to the glorious coastline of Southwest Mayo.
Never "following the crowd" Louisburgh, is named (allegedly) after a fortress town in Nova Scotia (rather than the other way 'round which was the convention at the time)
It's also is a "planned town", which is a little unusual in Ireland,
Westport being another one of the few.
